• We encourage you to sign up for paperless billing to save $2/mo. on your bill. You will receive an email or text notification based on your preferences when your bill is posted.

  • To start Auto Pay, you can sign up through SmartHub.

    Auto Pay allows you to pay your monthly bill through an automated draft from your bank checking account at no extra charge. By enrolling in Auto Pay, you authorize us to withdraw funds from your selected account to pay your monthly bill on the 18th of each month - excluding weekends & holidays. If the 18th falls on a weekend or holiday, your Auto Pay will be processed on the following business day.

  • Payment Source: Electronic funds transfer, also known as EFT, can be made via a checking or savings account.

    Important: please set up payments from your bank using the information on your bill’s remittance slip (bottom portion on first page of your bill) to ensure we receive them.

    • Payment Frequency: One-time or recurring

    • Fees: None

    • Approximate time to post to account: varies by bank

    • Limit per payment: No restrictions

    Most banks offer a bill pay service that allows you to set up one-time or recurring payments to your billers. Payment delivery times vary by banking institution. Please review your bank’s delivery times to ensure timely posting to your account.

  • You can pay your MGW bill over the phone at 540-925-2255. The system is automated allowing you to enter your personal information securely.

    Before you call you will need: Your account number and your pin. You will set up your pin when making your first payment.

  • Your bill may be paid by mail. Payments received after their due date will have a late fee applied.

  • Payments may be made in person at one of our office between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday or 24/7 at one of our drop boxes. View our payment locations.
