ACP Termination

posted April 16, 2024

On January 11, 2024, we were notified by an order released by the FCC announcing steps to wind-down the Affordable Connectivity Program for internet subscribers due to a lack of additional funding from Congress.

With the end of the ACP program and April 2024 being the last fully funded month for the program, any customers enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program will no longer see the ACP discount on their monthly bill following the bills that will be processed on April 23, 2024.

Customers who have been receiving the ACP benefit are strongly encouraged to contact our Customer Care team to discuss other ways they may be able to save on their monthly bill such as bundled service discounts, other service plans, paperless billing, etc.

We will continue to share more details as it becomes available to us to keep our customers informed.

If you have questions or concerns, please send us a message using your SmartHub account or by calling Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

On January 11, 2024, we were notified by an order released by the FCC announcing steps to wind-down the Affordable Connectivity Program for internet subscribers due to a lack of additional funding from Congress.

The last fully funded month for the ACP discount is projected to be April 2024; however, this is an estimate and may change. Should April 2024 be the last fully funded month, any customers enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program will no longer see the ACP discount on their monthly bill following the termination of the benefit program.

The last day for consumers to qualify with the National Verifier and enroll with their internet service provider is February 7, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. EST. If you're not already qualified, please visit https://acpbenefit.org/ and follow the instructions provided by the National Verifier to complete an application.

If a customer's broadband service is stopped or the customer discontinues the ACP benefit, they will be unable to re-enroll after February 7, 2024.

We will continue to share more details as it becomes available to us to keep our customers informed.
